*The Pacers have held opponents to a league-worst 53.2 percent shooting from fewer than five feet this season.

*For the 2nd time in a week, the Celtics have a rematch exactly one month later.

*Brad Stevens grew up just 20 minutes outside of Indianapolis and wore No. 31 because of Reggie Miller.

*The Pacers own the league’s best point differential overall (+8.3 per game) and at home (+13.3 per game) this season.

*The Pacers have begun a season 21-5 for the first time in franchise history.

*After losing just one game in all of November, the Pacers already have four losses in December, including their first home loss of the season at the hands of the Pistons.

–The four teams to beat the Pacers over the last three weeks have a combined record of 78-31.

*Paul George’s 8 highest scoring games this season have come on the road. He has not scored more than 26 points in a game at home this season.

–Home this season: 21 points per game, .563 true shooting percentage, .819 free throw percentage

–Road this season: 27 points per game, .618 true shooting percentage, .893 free throw percentage

*The Celtics have committed more turnovers than their opponent in each of the last 5 games.

–It is their longest such streak in the regular season since February 2012.

–The Celtics are 5-11 this season when turning the ball over more than opponent (7-5 otherwise).

*Via Elias: “Paul George scored 24 points to go along with his nine rebounds and three steals as the Pacers topped the Rockets. In doing so, George increased his per-game averages this season to 23.8 points, 5.96 rebounds and 2.08 steals. No NBA player has finished a season with minimum per-game averages of 20 points, five rebounds and two steals since 2008-09, when Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade both did that.”

*Avery Bradley’s longest streak of consecutive shots made (9 in a row) was in 2012: it included 7 in a row on March 25, 2012, which coincidentally was a home game against the Wizards

*Jared Sullinger and Brandon Bass became the first pair of Celtics to have double-doubles in the same game since Kevin Garnett and Bass did it on March 22, 2013 at Dallas.

*Jared Sullinger had 4 double-doubles in his rookie NBA season, but he now has 5 in his sophomore NBA season.

*Saturday was Brandon Bass’s 23rd career double-double, but he never had 4 assists to go along with a double-double before.

*On Saturday, the Celtics tied for their fewest fouls in a game this season (also 14 at Atlanta).

*Heading into Saturday’s contest, Jeff Green had made at least one 3-pointer in each of his last 15 games (tied his career-long streak from 2010).

–However, he missed all 6 of his 3-pointers, which were his most 3-point attempts without a make in his career.

*Saturday was the Celtics’ worst free-throw percentage in a game this season.

*Recent Meetings: Celtics vs. Pacers

–The Celtics have won their last two meetings in Indiana.
