Celtics vs. Magic Stat Pack

*On Friday, Boston entered the game winless on the road while Orlando owned an undefeated 3-0 home record.
–Entering Monday night, it is the reverse for the Magic: 0-3 on the road this season.

*Former Magic forward Brandon Bass had a team-high 16 points in the Celtics victory 3 days ago.
–He now owns a 7-0 record against Orlando since he came to Boston.
–In addition, he has scored in double figures in 6 of those 7 contests.
–As a Celtic, Bass has been scoring about 10 points per game, but he has stepped it up for when he faces his old team: he has averaged more than 14 points in those 7 games against the Magic.

*Once again, Avery Bradley’s swarming defense forced Jameer Nelson into a bad game on Friday.
–Nelson committed a whopping 7 turnovers, which tied his career-high.
–In addition, he took 60 percent of his shots from downtown and missed 7 of those 9 attempts from 3-point distance (Celtics continuing their league-best 3-point defense!).

*The last time the Celtics won a game when they shot 22 fewer free throws than their opponent: March 6, 2009. Who do you think was the Celtics’ opponent that night?
–Of course, LeBron and the Cavs: http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/200903060BOS.html
–On Saturday, the Celtics made 9 of their 12 free throws. On that night in March in 2009: the Celtics also made 9 free throws in 12 attempts.

*Last game was the first time the Celtics have put up triple digits on the board this season. Not a bad night to do it.
–Their season-high going into Saturday: 98

*All 11 Celtics that played on Saturday at Miami scored in the first half.

*On Saturday, Jeff Green tied his career-high in 3-pointers made.

*Recent Meetings: Celtics vs. Magic
–The last time the Magic beat the Celtics was Christmas 2010 (9 straight C’s victories).
–The Celtics’ 9 consecutive wins over the Magic is the longest current winning streak for the C’s over any team.
