Celtics @ Heat Stat Pack

*An interesting wrinkle to the NBA schedule, which includes the Celtics and Doc Rivers.
–The Magic faced the Clippers on Wednesday, and they hosted the Celtics 2 days later.
–The Heat faced the Clippers on Thursday, and they host the Celtics 2 days later.
–Boston took on the 2 Florida basketball teams in a combined 5 playoff series in the last 5 years.

*Dwyane Wade put up 29 points, 7 assists, 3 steals and 1 block against the Clippers Thursday.
–He became the first player this season to reach those plateaus, and then Kevin Durant did it on Friday.

*It is the 7th game of the regular season for the Celtics.
–Game 7: that sounds familiar with the Celtics and Heat (and LeBron).

*For just the 5th time since 2010, the Celtics have forced their opponents to commit at least 20 turnovers in consecutive games.
–Last time the C’s did it in 3 or more games in a row: March/April 2004 (4 straight).

*Miami owns the 2nd-best offensive efficiency, but is 21st in defensive efficiency.
–The Celtics are the opposite: 28th in offense and 8th in defense.

*Friday was Jordan Crawford’s 6th game as a Celtic with at least 5 assists, but it was actually the first Boston victory in which that occurred.

*Friday was the first time in Avery Bradley’s career that he had at least 14 points and 8 rebounds in the same game.
–Bradley has made one 3-pointer in 5 of his 6 career starts against the Heat.

*Friday was the first time since March 3, 2007 that the Celtics won a game with a field-goal percentage lower than 36% and 3-point percentage worse than 15%.

*Friday was the first time since January 12, 2011 that the Celtics had at least 95 shot attempts in a regulation game.

*Jared Sullinger’s 8 free-throw attempts on Friday set a new career-high for him.

*Recent Meetings: Celtics vs. Heat
–In Bradley’s last game against Miami, he had 4 steals (the most he has ever recorded in a game against the Heat).
–The C’s have dropped the last 2 games to the Heat and have averaged just 14 free throws made in those games (but did average 102 points).
